(Perhaps you are thankful for some of these as well.)

With the realization that many of us, perhaps even almost all of us, take so very many things in life for granted; perhaps we can take a moment to be Thankful.

Lord,

for the things we can do,

we are thankful… 

Even if each of us with the website and our loved ones may not be able to do all of these listed things, we are thankful for those things that we can do…

Lord Thank You for the ability to talk, walk, run, hear, smell, chew, swallow, touch, see, write, sing, and read…

 Thank You for food and shelter and clothing.

And Lord, Thank You as well for…  

Modern conveniences—> clean drinking water, water piped into our homes, hot water, electricity, heating & cooling, stoves and microwaves, refrigerators and freezers, washers and dryers, showers and soap, hearing aids and contacts and eyeglasses, transportation devices like cars, trucks, subways, bikes, boats, trains and planes…

And for… communication stuff—> words, language, numbers, books, phones, programs, the internet and music…

And for… dwellings to live in—> apartments, houses, cabins, townhouses, wigwams, bungalows, igloos, huts, tents, and yes, from time-to-time a friend’s couch…

And for… seeing & hearing… feelings & emotions… laughter & smiles… preachers & teachers… doctors & nurses & therapists & sunscreens & medicines… and healers… and salvation…

Thank You Lord for All Good Things!   

Thank You for our family and friends.

Thank You for the love of others in this life.

Thank You for our abilities and talents.

Thank You for the good health that we do have… yes, perhaps it could be better— and we pray for that; but it also could be worse— and we are thankful that it is not.

Thank You for the blessings you give.

Thank You for your love, mercy, grace, hope, faith, protection, peace, favor, anointing, healing and forgiveness.

Thank You for Jesus, Your Scriptures, prayer, freedom, and fellowship with You, Your Son and The Holy Spirit.

Thank You for the many other unnamed physical and spiritual blessings of life!

Thank You God, Creator of All Things!   Sustainer of All Things!

And on a personal note, I give You, Almighty God, All the glory and honor and praise for ALL Ideas and Good that You allow me to do… because it is You who gave me the abilities to do everything I’m able to do… Truly, without You, Creator of All, I would not exist to be able to do Anything!
